Who We Are
All of our artists have both shared and specialist interests and skills that enable us to design and deliver original, innovative and well informed projects. We also collaborate with other creative practitioners to meet the requirements of each individual project. All artists and practitioners have an enhanced CRB disclosure.
Caron Colbert – Finance and Development Co-ordinator
Caron has BA(Hons) degrees in German and Art History. She has over 20 years experience in managing and developing businesses, and has experience of working in the public and private sectors in South Africa, Switzerland and the UK.
Deborah Rogers - Artist and Project Co-ordinator
One of the founder members of The Cultural Sisters, Deborah has a BA(hons) in Fine Art and postgraduate qualifications in Youth Work, Creative Consultation and Arts in Health.
Fiona Waddle - Artist and Project Co-ordinator
With over 20 years experience in the field of participatory arts Fiona has worked with The Cultural Sisters since 1998. She has a BA(hons) in Fine Art and postgraduate qualifications in Creative Consultation and Arts in Health.
Melanie Stace – Artist and Project Co-ordinator
Melanie has been with The Cultural Sisters since 1996 when she graduated from Staffordshire University with a BA(hons) in Fine Art. She has also gained postgraduate qualifications in Youth Work,Creative Consultation and Arts in Health.
Paula McArdle – Artist
With a BA(hons) in Illustration from the University of Brighton. Paula has worked with The Cultural Sisters since 2008, she is also a published artist and illustrator with artwork included in children’s books and magazines, on greeting cards and limited edition prints.
Rani Khan – Admin and Communication Co-ordinator
With a BA(hons) in Business Studies, Rani deals with the day to day running of our office and studio space.
